6 – 7 May 2021, Dr. Sutat Weesakul, Director of Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization), and HII team participated in the 3rd Workshop under the topic “Mitigation of short-term impacts, analysis of mitigation workflow and development of implementation plan and Summary of the project” under the Climate-Resilient Agriculture for Disaster Risk Reduction or CRADR project through an online conference, together with ASEAN members.

This workshop was hosted by Academia Sinica Grid Computing Center (ASGC) from Taiwan. The workshop focused on the project’s summary analysis e.g. project overall activities, the knowledge that has been transferred to the case study areas from Thailand, Japan, India and Taiwan, the strength/weakness of case study areas (Phrae Province and Ban Phak Yim Community), and the future cooperation plans. By doing so, HII aims to set the CRADR project as the first example for ASEAN on natural resource management by science and technology knowledge for climate-resilient agriculture in the challenging world.
