HII is moving to expand cooperation with Rajabhat University to drive the economy in alignment with the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) strategy
On August 31 to September 1, 2566, Dr. Royboon Rassameethes, Deputy Director and Acting Director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), along with Ms. Pensiri Saranrat, Director of the Policy and Strategy Division, and HII officials, participated in a seminar and visited an educational exhibition on driving the economy according to the BCG (Bio, Circular, Green) strategy at the Vachiralongkorn Meeting Hall, Suratthani Rajabhat University in Surat Thani Province.
The event was honored by H.E. General Dapong Ratanasuwan, Privy Councilor and Professor Sirirurg Songsivilai, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, who served as the chairman of the ceremony and delivered a special lecture on “Driving the Economy According to the BCG Strategy.” He emphasized that the BCG economic model initiated by Thailand has been recognized nationally and internationally, especially in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. The BCG strategy, which encompasses the Bio, Circular, and Green sectors, is poised to boost the economy, improve the quality of life, and protect the environment.
The event witnessed the participation of over 38 universities and higher education institutions from across Thailand. HII is actively preparing to expand cooperation with these institutions, particularly in the southern upper region, to lead and guide universities in Surat Thani province towards excellence.
