The special lecture on “Parabolic Model for Headland-Bay Beaches: From AIT Research to Universal Applications” hosted by HII, DMCR and MD

On 14 June 2023, Hydro–Informatics Institute (HII) collaborated with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) and the Marine Department (MD) to organize the special lecture on “Parabolic Model for Headland-Bay Beaches: From AIT Research to Universal Applications” by Prof. John R.C. Hsu, a specialist of coastal engineering.

Prof. John Hsu delivered a lecture on the planning and pre-design of stable HBBs which is helpful for numerical coastal scientists, engineers, researchers, and modelers in analyzing and addressing coastal erosion and shoreline retreat issues.
