Special lecture on “Extreme Sea Levels for Thailand” by a specialist from the Netherlands hosted by HII and ONEP, DMCR, and MD.

On 13 March 2023, Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII) collaborated with the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR), and Marine Department (MD) to organize a special lecture on “Extreme Sea Levels for Thailand” at the meeting room, 8th floor, HII.

The host and co-host invited Prof. Dr. Roshanka Ranasinghe, a specialist in Climate Change Impacts and Coastal Risk, and Ms. Khin Nawarat, Ph.D. candidate at the Coastal & Urban Risk & Resilience Department, from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Netherlands, as the honorable speakers for thie special lecture. Total 70 participants from 11 government agencies such as the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, the Marine Department, the Royal Irrigation Department, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Kasetsart University, Naresuan University, Asian institute of technology, Thailand Global Warming Academy, Napamitr Foundation, and HII, participated in this special lecture.
