HII participated in UNESCAP’s Climate Solutions Fair at the UN Conference Centre, Bangkok

On 15-19 May 2023, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Thailand invited Hydro – Informatics Institute (Public Organization) to participate in the Climate Solutions Fair at the 79th session of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) at the United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok, Thailand. HII organized an exhibition under the theme “Accelerating climate action in Asia and the Pacific for sustainable development” at the conference.
On 15 May, Dr. Piyamarn Sisomphon, Director of the Hydro-Informatics Innovation Division, and HII team warmly welcomed Ambassador H.E. Remco van Wijngaarden at HII’s exhibition booth which presented the concept and outcome of science and technology implementation for water management, as well as the collaborative research with Deltares, Netherlands, to support the transfer of technology on efficient water management and subsurface.
